We would be delighted to see you among us at the 14th International Computer and Instructional Technologies Symposium (ICITS2021), which will be held online between October 26-28, 2021, hosted by the Faculty of Education, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University.
The theme of the symposium is Revisiting Instructional Design: Issues and Solutions, and the symposium aims to bring together researchers, graduate students and educators working in different fields to share their knowledge, experience and ideas, as well as studies on instructional technologies and instructional design. ICITS2021 also hosts panels where field experts discuss theoretical and practical solutions for the symposium theme.
The emergency distance education process that started with the COVID-19 pandemic has once again made us realize the importance of instructional design. In this context, the panels and sessions to be held within the scope of the symposium will focus on issues such as the competencies to be employed in the instructional design process, job opportunities that can be created for graduates of instructional technologies, and the development of digital competencies of teachers and teacher educators.
Abstracts accepted at the end of the peer-review process will be published electronically in the ICITS2021 abstract papers booklet. Papers sent as full text will be published in the ICITS2021 full text proceedings book after the referee evaluation. In addition, the “ICITS 2021 Best Presentation Award” will be awarded to three papers selected by the symposium advisory board.
